In 2020, Living Lab Lanaudière (LLL) called on Storyline to help demystify the concept of a Living Lab for the uninitiated, and to put together a comprehensive document to accompany a grant application that would ensure the project’s short/medium-term sustainability (mission accomplished, yay!).
The mandate required a great deal of research and reflection to ensure that we had a good grasp of the project, its structure, history, vision and current benefits, before creating the content.
A Living Lab serves as a point of contact between an innovative company, start-up, spin-off or research center, and companies from different sectors wishing to test an innovation in real time. The Living Lab finds the right “fits” between the two parties and does the project management. It’s a co-creative process that benefits both parties. On the one hand, the innovative company can test and receive feedback from the market for its product in the test phase. On the other hand, the company hosting the innovator is at the forefront of innovation in its sector.
LLL also commissioned Storyline to produce an activity report illustrating the journey and achievements, lexicon and vision of this regional initiative, for distribution to its members, partners and entire ecosystem.
