From our first meeting, we knew we’d work well together. Sometimes it’s like that with a customer… It just fits. It has to be said that Pascale Coutu is inspiring and particularly full of energy and ideas.
Pascale and her husband Pierre Tremblay transformed the family dairy farm into a vegetable farm in 1999. Today, La Courgerie welcomes over 20,000 visitors a year. People come to discover an enchanting place, to pick countless varieties of squash (there are over 300!) and to discover the delicious by-products designed by Pierre. They also come to learn from our gourmet gardeners, rich in knowledge and good advice.
A visit to La Courgerie is an unforgettable experience, and it’s a real pleasure for our team to create content for this dynamic company that’s not afraid to innovate in the agri-food sector.
It’s always the same story… We go to La Courgerie with our kids. It’s an unforgettable family moment. We wander around the field with the wheelbarrow and our little world makes discoveries. Wow, look at this one, not that one! Oh… Hihi it looks like an alien! Then we get home with $60 worth of squash, but we can’t remember which is which, and we invariably end up using them as decorations, only to discard them the day after Halloween for lack of knowledge. Whooo minute. That’s a waste, lady! That’s right…
If we were lucky, we bumped into Pascale or Pierre during our visit. Then maybe we’ll remember that Hubbard squash is excellent for an original pot-au-feu, that pumpkins make ultra-soft cakes and that it gets its name from its subtle chestnut taste. And then the $100 question. How do I cut it? And how long does it keep?
Our gardeners can’t be everywhere! That’s why we came up with the idea of creating recipe cards inspired by the famous baseball cards, with our best stats for each squash family. We scan the QR code on the back to continue the adventure and get recipe ideas, tutorial videos to teach us how to carve squash without chopping off a finger in the process, and also to discover interesting facts that are sure to make us look smarter at the next family party.
We didn’t do it alone! It was all a co-creation with Pascale (our living encyclopedia) in collaboration with our friends at MySmartJourney for the multimedia content delivery platform and supported by LivingLab Lanaudière.

The MySmartJourney platform has also enabled us to create several routes to tell the Courgerie story, to entertain the kids, to learn a little more about the produce available, to help us when picking and to make informed choices in the grocery store.
Our team was on hand when Pascale and Pierre asked us to shoot their photos for the 2021 holiday campaign ” Christmas is Orange“.

We were also there to give Pascale a hand with the creation of the everyday content for Pascale’s social networks.
It’s a pleasure to work with passionate people. Our entire team fell under their spell. A destination to discover!
