The brand has seen significant financial benefits from this initiative: Marcus Sanders, Vice President of Coach&#8217;s global food division, states that stores with a cafe have seen their revenues double or triple. <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 data-block-id=\"block-2e9f3a37-8afd-4102-86e8-743298f3b346\">Building a relationship with coffee<\/h2>\n<p>The caf\u00e9 allows brands to reach a new customer base and break down psychological barriers to entry. This is especially true for Gen Z, who may not be able to afford a Coach bag but can certainly afford a coffee or pastry adorned with their logo. <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-13119\" src=\"https:\/\/storylinecommunication.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/downloadgram.org_535852843_17895898158270513_2054910856868421857_n-1.jpg\" alt=\"coach coffee shop\" width=\"1080\" height=\"1438\" srcset=\"https:\/\/storylinecommunication.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/downloadgram.org_535852843_17895898158270513_2054910856868421857_n-1.jpg 1080w, https:\/\/storylinecommunication.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/downloadgram.org_535852843_17895898158270513_2054910856868421857_n-1-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/storylinecommunication.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/downloadgram.org_535852843_17895898158270513_2054910856868421857_n-1-769x1024.jpg 769w, https:\/\/storylinecommunication.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/downloadgram.org_535852843_17895898158270513_2054910856868421857_n-1-768x1023.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Since this customer base is also very active online and eager for &#8220;IRL&#8221; (in real life) experiences (just like millennials!), the caf\u00e9 transforms into a life-sized film set where everything must be carefully considered: the wallpaper in the background for the perfect selfie, the logo sprinkled on the latte foam, the paper napkin featuring an Instagrammable quote&#8230; A visit to the caf\u00e9 becomes a moment to share on social media, a way for consumers to connect with the brand and show that they embrace its values. <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>More than a caf\u00e9: values, identity and visibility<\/h2>\n<div data-block-id=\"block-0511a733-98b9-424e-9b8e-94aa8f8f17b9\"><\/div>\n<div data-block-id=\"block-0511a733-98b9-424e-9b8e-94aa8f8f17b9\">Opening a caf\u00e9 isn&#8217;t a suitable strategy for every brand, as it&#8217;s a high-risk investment that requires significant resources and industry expertise. The magic works particularly well for luxury, high-end, or lifestyle brands, as coffee becomes a tangible embodiment of their values \u200b\u200band identity.
